So as a ‘well done for your blog turning three’ gift to myself I decided to update my website to be able to upload videos!!!
Over the years I have tried to start-up and maintain a YouTube channel to no avail (big shouts to you if you subscribe and I am sorry)
I don’t know what it is about YouTube but it really just isn’t for me.
So here we are (: and I think I kinda like it
A few days ago, I posted a pic of myself with a bit of a different ‘do’ on my Instagram story and I got quite a few people(dem) asking me to post a tutorial and for once I didn’t just say ‘yeaaaaah sure babe cool beans I will do itttttt’ while having no intention of actually doing it *covers face* I’ve actually done onnnnne.
So I hope you enjoy it, ooh and watch it with the sound up!
Here are the products I used:
Denman Be-Bop tangle tamer: The only brush I’ve used whilst my hair is dry that doesn’t completely rip it all out, plus it comes in lots of lovely colours too. *Love struck face*
I am not going to go into detail about the comb and smoothing brush because they’re just a comb and smoothing brush.
The hair products I used are from a website called Design Essentials, now I have only just discovered this site thanks to my best mate Dan. I have been nicking her hair stuff for months and have completely fallen in love with it. Big up Dan!
Breakdown (in order):
– Jane Carter Hydrate
Usually when I try different types of mists and hydrating sprays they’re pretty much just water and do nothing for me other than cause my hair to shrink up and its just depressing. Enter Jane Carter! You wonderful thing, thank you yeah?
– Coconut & Monoi Curl Defining Gelee
I put this wonderful gloop in so that my hair is easier to braid and also when I take the plaits out, it leaves my hair nice and curly. Perfect braid-out stuff
Now this stuff has been sent from the Gods. Usually any and every kind of edge tamer/ control breaks my hair. It makes my hairdresser Rose very annoyed! But this stuff is wonderful and no white flakes *big smiles*
So there you have ittttttttt, my first (and hopefully not last) tutorial! Very informative don’t ya think? Let me know your thoughts and if you’d like to see more!
And also any natural hair products you’re loving at the moment ❤
Yinka x
