Is on youuuu V Label London ❤
So it is that time of the month! Time for Yinkas spotlight and this month you are in for a treat. I often complain about not being able to find a nice dress to go to nice places. Ok fine, I dont really dress up that much, even when the occasion calls for it, I am often the girl in trainers and jeans whilst everyone else is glam. However I have always maintained that it is difficult to find nice affordable dresses for those special occasions!
Until now! Introducing V Label London, a beautiful brand which offers stunning pieces for the moments when you want to look just that little bit special.
I had the pleasure of picking two of my favourite pieces from the V Label London website to show and tell you all about, so I took myself down to my lovely local park in the Autumn sunshine and showed these babies off.
This green dress is called the Charing Green and is just awesome, from the formal collar to the thigh high split I think it is just the right balance between formal and sexy which means it is stable for any occasion really. It is one of those dresses you throw on and instantly feel glam. I am wearing a UK10.
I teamed the Charing Greeen dress with some killer Sophia Webster heels that I have had for a while, J-Lo has these very same shoes and even though I know that does not make me J-Lo, I kinda feel like J-Lo haha.
I changed my hair recently, I have been talking about my hair hibernation quite a lot recently and I will explain a little further here: The cold seasons are very harsh on my hair and often it is left dry, damaged and unmanageable. So I have been researching ‘protective styles’ and this is my first style!
These are crochet braids, which are awesome. Done with my absolute favourite CatFaceHair Dont forget about my discount code: ‘BOKINNI’ for 5% off
P.s I am wearing my favourite Carbon&Coal ring too
And now for my second choice! But when I say second don’t think that I like this dress any less! No!This dress is actually my favourite thing right now, the colour, the cut and the length are all to die for.
I am happy that this is the second style I chose because it is so different to the first design, which kinda shows you the range of things on offer over on the V Label London website, which you can check out and shop here
This dress is called the ‘Colney Peach Dress‘ and is a 70’s style gown which has a cool little ruched detail at the front which is perfect for when you potentially want to distract from your middle. I go through phases with my body and this dress truly is ideal for those days when I have somewhere to go and nothing in my wardrobe seems to fit right. Which lets face it; happens often enough.
I dressed this gown up with a lot of accessories which are from a bunch of places, what I wanted to do was really take advantage of the 70’s style swoop neck on this dress.
My hair is just curled and pinned back in a messy do, I got my crochet braids from a place in Dalston called Stunt Dolly and my make up is fairly natural although now on second thoughts I may have been bit heavy handed on the old eyebrow- shadow.
You can really see them too well but a pair of Lamoda Nude wedges finish this look off nicely. These block heels are quite old now and they no longer stock this actual style but they do have similar here. I completely forgot to take a photo of the shoes properly eiish!
Check out the V Label London website for affordable, luscious dresses for special occasion. Ooh and make sure you check out their new Autumn range, its incredible! And get out and enjoy the beautiful Autumn sunshine before its too late!
